Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, moms-to-be, aunts, sisters, and mentors. Thank you to all the ladies who are positive remodels and inspirations.
I wanted to write about some of the mothers in the Bible, but due to internet issues that won’t get done today. Maybe on Wednesday or next Sunday I will post it.
I wanted to make sure I said thank you to all the lovely ladies out there. I have had many wonderful women in my life who have helped me to become the woman I am today.
They have shown me what love is. Patient, kind, humble, enduring, and much more (1 Corinthians 13). I hope to be able to show that love to others.
And to speak on my own mom, I can’t say we got along really well when growing up. No major clashes, just normal things. Since I moved to Colorado, we’ve been able to build a really good relationship. As I wrote in her card, I’m glad to be able to call her a friend.
That’s one of the things I love about love. It changes and grows as your relationships change and grow. Moms are with you as you grow. Your relationship changes. Your love changes.
And those who are missing their mom today, love doesn’t die when we do. And those who have no relationship with your mom, remember that blood doesn’t make someone family. Celebrate the people who care about you. Thats what today is about.
